Nothing here is held in a warehouse. Every piece is made after you order it, which is the reason it fits your room and the reason it is not instant. Here is what that actually means in days.

How long it takes

A piece from the collection is typically one to two weeks from the day the order is confirmed. That is turning, sanding through eight grits, finishing, wiring and testing — the finish is the slow part, because oil has to cure and cannot be hurried without showing.

A commissioned design takes longer. It starts with drawings, usually a prototype shade profile, and your approval before anything is cut. Once the design is signed off, making it takes about as long as a catalogue piece.

Volume and hospitality orders are scheduled rather than queued. Forty sconces is a production run, not forty individual orders, and we will give you a date for the whole batch.

You get a date, not an estimate

Your quote carries a firm ready date. If anything threatens it — a board that moves, a fitting that is late — you hear it from us when we find out, not on the day it was due.

Packing

Wood dents and glass breaks, so pieces travel in fitted packaging with the bulb boxed separately. Wall brackets and fixings are in the same carton. Nothing arrives needing a trip to a hardware shop.

Delivery

Tell us where the piece is going and delivery is confirmed with your quote, before you commit to anything. Cost depends on the piece and the destination — a wall sconce and a six-arm chandelier are not the same problem, and we would rather quote it honestly than average it.

For projects in and around Dubai we usually deliver ourselves, which means the piece is handled by someone who knows what it is.

Installation

Table and floor pieces need nothing: a plug and a socket. Wall and ceiling pieces should be fitted by a qualified electrician — they are wired to standard fittings, so any electrician can do it, but it is not a job to improvise at height with a live circuit.

Every piece ships with its fixings and, where the mounting is not obvious, a diagram. If your electrician wants to speak to us first, that is fine — put us in touch.

When it arrives

Unpack it and look at it while the packaging is still there. If anything is wrong, photograph it and tell us straight away — it is far easier to resolve in the first day than the first month. Every piece is checked before it leaves the bench, so this is rare, but when it happens it is ours to put right.
