1. Who we are

Lumière Infinie (“Lumière Infinie”, “we”, “us”) is the controller of the personal data described in this policy. We are registered in the United Arab Emirates. Registered entity name and address: [insert legal entity name and registered address]. For any privacy question or request, contact us at our contact address.

2. What personal data we collect

We only collect what you choose to give us and the basic technical data needed to run the site:

Information you provide

  • Contact form: your name, email, phone number, company, city, enquiry type and message.
  • Custom design request: your name, company, email, phone, and project details (type, budget, wood, shape, size, finish, inspiration and a description of your space), plus any reference photo or file you upload.
  • Correspondence: any information you include when you email or otherwise communicate with us.

Information collected automatically

  • Standard technical data such as your IP address, browser type and device information, which is processed by our hosting and content-delivery providers when your browser loads the site’s pages, fonts and assets.

We do not collect payment card details through this website; any payment arrangements are handled separately as part of your order.

3. How we use your data

  • to respond to your enquiries and prepare quotations;
  • to design, produce and deliver custom and standard orders;
  • to communicate with you about your order or request;
  • to operate, maintain and secure the website; and
  • to comply with our legal and regulatory obligations.

We do not sell your personal data, and we do not use it for automated decision-making that produces legal effects about you.

4. Legal basis for processing

We process your personal data where: you have given consent (for example, by submitting a form); processing is necessary to take steps at your request before entering into, or to perform, a contract with you; or processing is necessary for our legitimate business interests (such as responding to enquiries and keeping the site secure) or to comply with a legal obligation.

5. Sharing & service providers

We share personal data only with trusted service providers who process it on our behalf, and where required by law. These currently include:

  • Supabase — our database and file storage, which holds form submissions and any files you upload;
  • Content-delivery and font providers (for example Google Fonts, jsDelivr, Cloudflare and Google’s model-viewer component) which serve fonts, scripts and 3D-viewer assets and may process your IP address to do so;
  • professional advisers, couriers/logistics partners, and authorities where necessary to fulfil your order or meet a legal obligation.

6. Storage & security

Your submissions are stored in our Supabase database and are accessible only to authorised Lumière Infinie staff through an authenticated admin account. Data is transmitted over encrypted (HTTPS) connections. While no method of transmission or storage is completely secure, we take reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your personal data against unauthorised access, loss or misuse.

7. How long we keep it

We keep your personal data only for as long as needed for the purposes described above — for example, to handle your enquiry, fulfil your order, and meet legal, accounting or reporting requirements — after which it is deleted or anonymised.

8. Cookies & local storage

This website does not use advertising or tracking cookies. It may use your browser’s local storage to keep the site working if our database is temporarily unavailable. Third-party assets (fonts, scripts and the 3D viewer) are loaded from the providers listed above and are subject to their own privacy practices.

9. Your rights

Subject to applicable UAE data protection law, you may have the right to: access the personal data we hold about you; ask us to correct inaccurate data; request deletion of your data; object to or ask us to restrict certain processing; and withdraw consent where processing is based on consent. To exercise any of these rights, email our contact address. We will respond within the timeframe required by law.

10. International transfers

Some of our service providers may store or process data on servers located outside the United Arab Emirates. Where personal data is transferred internationally, we take steps to ensure it remains protected in line with applicable UAE data protection requirements.

11. Children’s privacy

This website and our services are intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, please contact us and we will delete it.

12. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The current version is always the one published on this page, and we will update the “last updated” date above when we make changes.

13. Governing law

This Privacy Policy is governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates, and any dispute relating to it is subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of the United Arab Emirates ([insert applicable Emirate, e.g. Dubai]).
